Design Validation Procedure

Dear All

Does anyone have the procedure for design validation?

That is to procedure to verify the design for adequacy, accuracy, reliability, & compliance to special considerations.

Assuming the "design validation" is for some kind of new ways of doing a business you may refer to DNV RP A203. It is a generic procedure (ie lot of words) to which you may have to add your design specific twists. Questions you may have to ask yourself are whether you need any mathematical simulations or making of prototypes and/or any shop tests etc...or any third party studies... No one can give you exact answer... You need to find it yourself...
