Hello everyone,
I am currently working on a project involving an actuator that generates noise during its operation. This actuator is used in thermal management systems and includes electrical, mechanical, and position sensors (attached picture). My goal is to better understand and analyze the noise phenomena associated with its functioning.
Here are the key areas I am focusing on:
Thank you in advance for your help!
- Analyzing Actuator Designs: I need to identify the acoustically sensitive areas of the actuator. Are there any specific design factors or methods you recommend for pinpointing these areas?
- Improving Simulations and Measurements: I aim to improve the correlation between simulations (using tools like MATLAB-Simulink or FEM software such as Ansys or Comsol) and acoustic measurements. What approaches or best practices can help enhance this correlation? Are there any specific techniques to improve the accuracy of simulations or the reliability of measurements?
- Defining an Acoustic Characterization Protocol: I want to develop a structured protocol for acoustic characterization to make future designs more streamlined and efficient. Have you worked on similar protocols before? Any advice or resources for getting started?
Thank you in advance for your help!
