Determine filter size for a electric motor

Hello,

Could anyone please help me in determining the air filter size for a electric motor. The electric motor is enclosed in a housing and has louvers on the sides for air entry. I need some guidance in calculating the filter size.

You have to calculate the room [or enclosure] ventilation [you may reduce the inner ventilation requiring by taken into consideration the radiation and exterior enclosure convection. See:
