Hello

How can I develop a plug-in for Catia V5 ? In the thread560-345694, drewmumaw explained about this in the first post and I want to say thank. I want to ask, should I choice all Catia Refrences in VS2012 to develop a plug-in for Catia V5 or "MECMOD Library" is ok ?

Hello, farzad89,
you need to reference only the necessary ones to your application.

Impossible is nothing.

Thank ferdo for your reply,

I mean a software that I can install it as a toolbar for Catia to do some repetitive designs. I am programming with VBA for Catia but that's not available to install as a toolbar, and I have to always run my source code from macro, so I want to program with VB in VS to develop a software to do this ?

Thank GELFS for your reply,

What are the main ones for programming ? For evrey code that I use ,should I check the reference ?!

Something like this? Both of them are created with VS2005, the circle dock is just calling some CATScripts, the toolbar includes codes inside and for this you need to follow what GEL said, get the reference which you need for your code.

Thank Fernando, Yes exactly like those, Those great

I use VS2012, What are the main references for programming ? For every code that I use ,should I check the reference ?!

But those are not a Catia toolbar Fernando !
you only run a VB program from VS, so that's not a plug-in software Fernando! I mean of a plug-in software is a software that install in your computer and create a toolbar for Catia !?

is that possible to create a toolbar with VBA in Catia V5 ?

Thank Fernando

Where can I get more information about CAA/RADE license ?

what he is describing sounds to me like basic design automation, which can be achieved with skeleton parts, catalogs, macros... without any need for CAA.
the pic from ferdo is not working.
