Evening folks.

I recently saw a post featuring a Lamella Zollinger rhomboid pattern reciprocal roof structure and I'm intrigued.. I'm looking for a calculator, or a long hand method (it's been years since Ive used algebra) to develop the two patterns required to build one. I tried messing around with this software, but it's french.
There's more pro's than con's with these structures imo, and does anyone have any suggestions on how to figure out the two structural shapes, short of hiring a engineer proficient with Rhinoceros CAD 3D?
Yes, I tried to contact rural sw Alabama auburn studio because their Hale county animal shelter is the shape and diameter I want.

My site is in Iowa County Iowa where there are no codes or inspections. But I don't need high winds, which these structures are known to be susceptible to due to lift, or snow loads causing any failures.

Thanks

if i was thinking of creating one, i'd definitely field visit, and measure inspect first. nice thing about that one in alabama is it is close to the ground - easy to measure.
there is a beautiful roof in ventura, ca, if you're ever out that way.
i may have an old book that has some general info ...
