I am looking for a station diagram for a DHC-8 aircraft along with a cross section. Trying to develop a few concepts for a new special missions platform. Anyone know where I might find this?

an operator may let you look at their SRM, chapter 53 has what you wnat.

bombardier may let you have the info, i don't think it's confidential or proprietary.

i'm pretty familar with the dash 8 but i don't that info at my finger tips. if you're interested we could exchange e-mails.

I am working that and trying to get pages from the manuals from a few sources, thought this post might work for me. Could exchange info via email. I also am looking at requirements for adding an obervation window and ability to open the baggage door in flight, similar to Field's mod. Not sure of the details on how it was done in the past, and will have to develop my own mod if theirs isn't for sale/available.

funny you should mention Field's mod ... nudge, nudge.

it took alot of flight testing to perfect ... you might ask them to license the STC to you, rather than re-inventing the wheel. i'm sorry, but what i know about this is commercial confidential. i believe that they offer their observation window (replaces the type III exit door) for sale. they also have a gross weight increase STC (for S200), may be usefull.

good luck

Station diagrams with a cross section are also often found in the Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Chapter 6 if you have access to that document.
