Bouras Industries has some new tables for determining allowable diaphragm shear based upon wind uplift.
When I contacted Hilti, they were unaware of these tables (which incidently are only for welds and screws, not Hilti pins).
It appears that these values are critical for lightweight roofs (no ballast), high wind regions and tall buildings.
Has anyone else had experience with using these tables?
