as in the last times, everybody must do, with crisis, all must do some jobs we are not experts, so that´s the situation, i have a 3000 KVA generator with a cummings motor diesel, so i have two rolling bearings on generator, so we start up the motor, and check high vibrations specially on axial side, with no load, and finally increase...they rise to 15 mm/s on axial, and bearing temperature is 85º C, after this the motor broke..I wonder how much is the vibration for a generator on a genset, cause if i read the standard for vibrations for genset ISO 10816 part 6, talks about motors, but nothing about the generator.... but with this vibration, the moter brokes, my people was not concerned about motor, so we don´t know how was vibration....
After repairing we check again, and the vibration initially was better on axial, but worse on radial, but with load or heating i don´t know....the vibration on axial increase to 9,5 mm/s on axial, from no load to 75% it increase 205 %, so i suspect i have a problem with alignment, i mean maybe some paralelism on the beginning and then cause of elongation of the structure, some angular....i would apreciate some good ideas...number are on the attached file

What was the nature of the motor broke?
