I have a shaft running in a tubular housing supported by 3 bearings, the two outboard bearings are 6809 LU by NTN and the center bearing is a 61809 RS with no manufacturer noted. These are all58mm OD,45mm ID and 7mm wide bearings. When pricing them, there is a big difference in the cost, and I was wondering if there really is a difference? Thanks in advance.

I was surprised how difficult it was to find those bearings.

Looks like the 61809 may be a "large" ball series, with attending greater radial capacity and lower limiting speed.

3 bearings on one shaft is frought with perils, mostly manufacturing
A hollow shaft can make bearing fits trickier.
A hollow shaft can bring on HUGE unbalance issues.

Thank you for the response and I went ahead and purchased the same bearings as originally used and will disassemble the old one to see if there is a difference.

@tmoose, Thank you for this helpful reply. But I want to purchase so can you tell me which is best place to buy bearing onlilne.

I have no idea which online sources are reliable.

For years we've heard stories about counterfeit bearings with questionable quality. I believe them.
I have to think online purchases would make me especially vulnerable to receiving cr*p.

Tmoose is absolutely correct! Deal with a reputable distributor, and pay the price within reason. My experience is, learning the hardway, when bearing prices are too good to be true, it is too good to be true, and the bearings go from the box to the dumpster.

thank you @tmoose and @nickelkid,
So can you suggest me online is good or offline is best source to buy bearings.
