Difference between coupling CP and constraint euqation CE

Do you know, what is the difference between coupling CP and constraint equation CE (e.g. RBE3] ?

In short

CP-Directly Couples the node to node degrees of freedom(Equation is DOF(1st node)=DOF(2nd node). The prime node's dof during matrix formulation are used and dof's of other node ignored.

CE-Couples node to node degrees of freedom using equations like Coef1 * DOF1 + Coef2 * DOF2 + Coef3 * DOF3 + ... = Constant. Master node dof's are independent and slave nodes dof's are dependent. Rigid connection.

RBE3-Same as CE. But slave node dof's are independent and Master nodes dof's are dependent. Not rigid connection.
