difference between repair WPS and original WPS in BS-4515

First of all, I must apologize because my question is not related to AWS code.
I wanted to know the difference between repair WPS and original WPS in BS-4515-1 code?

The primary difference would be the addition of defect excavation, prep methods and testing to ensure complete defect removal prior to welding. After that reweld can be accomplished using normal qualified parameters unless service adds additional restrictions.
