Difference between Response Spectrum Method and IS:1893 RSM

Could someone please highlight the difference between Response Spectrum Method and IS:1893 RSM (2002)?

In particular, I am interested in how IS:1893-2002 could be alternatively modeled using Response Spectrum Method.
