Hi All,

This question may sound a bit stupid to the experts here in this forum, but I just can't resist myself asking you guys as the issue has been bogging me for quite some time.

What is the main difference between the corosion mechanisms - Stress Corosion Cracking(SCC), Sulfice stres corrosion(SSC) and HIC(Hydrogen Induced Cracking)?
Does NACE standard address all these corrosion mechanisms?

Any ideas are welcome.

Regards,
Starrproe

If you don't have direct access to the above references just Google them on the internet. There is plenty of information in the public domain.
