Different yield displacement values in tension test of an L Panel

I'm verifying my Concrete Damage Plasticity constitutive model using a tension test on an L-Panel. The test is displacement controlled and is applied at the lower right bottom of the L Panel. I am also verifying the mesh insensitivity of sizes 200mm, 300mm and 400mm by using stress-displacement input for tension and exponential softening after yield.

So, when I'm plotting the output Max Principal Stress and displacement I'm observing the yield displacement is different for each individual meshes and yield tensile stress being almost identical. I'm unable to comprehend what's causing different yield displacement as mesh size is varied while it is supposed to be the same. Can someone help?

Can you attach a picture of your model ? Did you try with more mesh sizes to reach mesh convergence ?

Take a look at PEEQ and PEEQT contour plots to see where the yielding occurs. Maybe these particular areas require mesh refinement.

FEA way,

It turns out I did not do the mesh convergence study for model and the coarser mesh was not sufficiently good. Thanks for the insight.
