Dimension Dialog Box 1

When I am generating a sketch and I need to create a dimension I use the smart dimension and place it on the sketch. However after I place the dimension I have to double click on the dimension to get the dimension input dialog box to pop up (very irritating and labour intensive). How can I get that input box to pop up automatically after I place the dimension?

Tools Pulldown>Options>System Options tab>General>Check mark Input dimension value (top option)
