More fun cropping up, more often lately. Originally posted about it in thread555-372052 but haven't found a fix for it, just workarounds.
Dimassoc = 2
Dimlfac settings, and everything else aside, (we dimension in pspace, to modelspace points, scaled to the viewpot, so it sets the dimlfac automatically to adjust) we have dimensions that change when a drawing is opened or printed, or simply if it seems it wants to do so.
Put a dimension in pspace, snapped to the endpoints of a modelspace line. Comes in as 4 13/32"
Space bar to re-run dim command, no changes to settings.
Dimension the opposite hole, at the opposite end, 4 13/32".
Save drawing. close. close autocad. Restart, and reopen same drawing.
Dim 1 now shows 4 13/32". Dim 2 now shows 4.4062500".
Paste properties sometimes fixes dim 2, but mostly no change. If you list it, no dim overrides.
If we run DIMDISASSOCIATE on dim 2, jumps back to 4 13/32".
Does it in some drawings, but not others, sometimes one dimension out of 40, sometimes 5 out of 8.
Saw a couple obscure posts that said it had to do with used a truetype font, but I haven't been able to find that post again.
ANY help or ideas appreciated. Unpleasant needing to comb through hundreds of drawings fixing dimensions.
