Dimension in drafting

Hi,
As shown in above image, the dimension and hatching lines are overlapping.
Is there any way in NX8.5 to change the background of dimension text as white.. So that wherever the dimension text is present , there is no overlapping. No edges or hatching lines should be visible in the dimension background.

There believe is a way to remove the crosshatching behind the dimension, as it is possible with a note, I will get back to you on this.

Double click the cross hatch, you will get an option to select the annotation, select the dimension and apply.
