I am inspecting a brazed chassis in which one of the brazed joints is slightly concave. It is painted over so it is very visible.
Is this considered rejectable per AWS C3.7?
AWS C 3.7 does not directly address this topic. The closest is 6.5.1.1 Surface Porosity and Voids. but does a concave brazed joint fall into this category.
Thanks for any input!

Concavity is not a rejectable condition per ANY AWS braze specification, it's a common thing to see as far as braze fusion goes, they're known as fillets.

rejectable defects are lack of penetrations, voids, and these are inspected by visual and Xray.
