I need to copy cards from an abaqus input file into my current model in CAE and ensure that these stay with the CAE model & that CAE will treat them as any other model, without having to write out an input file, edit the input file then remimport the input file as a model.
Dyna for instance is based on the input file so I can edit directly, but abaqus stores the model in something other than a single input file, then writes out an input file each time you create a job.
Would be much appreciated as I keep needing to import data from input files into my current model in CAE.
