Aug 15, 2007 #3 zeitghost Computer Oct 8, 2003 400 0 0 GB I tried that method many times with a disk controller card, CorBlimeyLimey and this: http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1391078&page=1 is how I eventually fixed it. By using an install routine from the chip manufacturer. I was ever so impressed with the CD provided by the card manufacturer. Not. Maybe the OP will have to try something like this. Using the Windoze driver install method got absolutely nowhere, with Windoze saying "I can't find a driver" with monotonous regularity... Hope this helps a little. Upvote 0 Downvote
