When printing from SW2006 sp3.4 with Image quality and HLR res maximized; convert draft quality to high quality and pring high quality options checked; I get the good image quality but the BOM information and template (drawing border)data disappears? With the print high quality option unchecked the image quality stinks-jagged lines and such-but the BOM and template data are visable. My VAR is reseaching the problem, but I'm hoping this forum will provide additional/quicker insight.

What are your system specs?
Specifically your video card & driver?

This problem is consistent with the three users in our drafting departmentwho have acess to our HP plotters. All are using XP professional but there are several different Nvidia cards all of which are using drivers that pass the SolidWorks RX check. I can get some specific card data and reply again. I am starting to think that this may be a network or plotter issue as that seems to be a common link.

Does the print preview show correctly? If it does, then it is the printer drivers.

I had a user in the drafting department check the print preview and the information does appear on the print preview. I'll ask our IT department to check into the drivers for the plotters. I'll post the results.

Our IT folk updated the HPGL driver on our HP-1050 to the latest version. This did not make a difference. All text whether in BOM balloons, BOM tables, or the drawing border does not plot. Any advice?

This is just a guess. See if there is a setting while printing to change all colors to black.

We tried the plot black only option with no luck. Does anyone know if the post script drivers are required for the plotter? We only have the hpgl drivers installed.
