What is displacement in CAESAR II
if we apply a displacement on a node.
I don't know if that means that we apply a displacement on the node or we freed the node to be able to make some displacement.

A displacement in Caesar II is exactly what it sounds like - a defined amount of movement in at least one direction.

This could be used for known equipment nozzle displacements, a known amount of movement in the piping, etc.

Assigning a displacement of 1" in direction X means that node will move that amount in load cases that include that displacement vector. For the other directions, if you assign all O's its fully defined. Otherwise it's "free" to move in the other directions as the system calculates it will.
