Our settings for dimensions have upper limit displayed above lower limit. Does anyone know how to display dimensions on the same line (ie. "lower limit" - "upper limit")?

Thx

Limit tolerancing according to ASME Y14.5M - 1994 states on page 24 section 2.2 Direct Tolerancing Methods (a) Limits Dimensioning. The high limit (max value) is placed above the lower limit (min value). When expressed in a single line, the lower limit precedes the high limit and a dash separates the two. See Figure 2.1 page 23

To my knowledge, Pro/E 2001 doesn't allow limit dimensioning to be expressed on a single line.

In the drawing setup (Menu: Advanced/Draw Setup) you should set 'text orientation' to one of the horizontal modes, e.g. iso_parallel_diam_horiz or ansi_parallel_diam_horiz, in order to achieve this effect.
This works in 2001 and Wildfire.
