dispsilh with 3dstudio meshes

DISPSILH desn´t work with geometry imported from 3dstudio max. I have tried all the ways and all the formats possibles (importing as dwg, 3ds, etc). Is there any way to convert to solid, meshes generated by 3dstudio max?
I don´t wont to draw all the project in autocad ( i need autocad just to do the layout, and printing) Curved surfaces always appear with mesh lines. I have already turned dispsilh to 1, and the result is the same.
