Hello,
I have a question that may sound trivial! If I modelled a wall in ETABS as a shell thin and applied on shear forces at different levels, and I defined the restraints at the base on the two edges as pin-pin, shouldn't the two reactions at the base be equal?
I see a difference in reactions, of course the total sum is correct, but why wouldn't I get equal reaction? See attached.
