Div 8, UG - 27, UG-34, UG-37 basic question 1

I am trying to calculate the t = minimum thickness requirement for this part (valve opening). I am picking the thinest part

P = Internal design pressure (where can I get this? can I use minimum tensile on the whole part?
S = Maximum allowable stress value (how can I obtain this value?)

Our parts have been approved with ASME and AINSI but when we asked for Canadian Registration Number, CSA requires us to perform the calculation. Anyone has this experience before, please share. Thank you.

Your questions are too basic for you to go on with this calculation without consulting an experienced engineer.
Some comments:
1)The design pressure for a standard item (like a valve) is normally derived from the rating; it is anyway a basic datum that you must define if you want to sell the item to someone.
2)If you mean that the allowable stress should be based onto tensile stress, then no, it isn't: allowable stresses are given in ASME II Part D.
3)It is not clear what you are required to calculate: a valve body with all its parts or something else?

Valve Body? Should be identified with a standard which may answer your questions.

Opening in a vessel where a valve attaches? Should be identified with a code of construction, which may...

CRN's can be soooo much fun.

ASME will not endorse/certify the valve, The valve have to comply with the standard or you are violating the law, not only the Code, the law!
you have to comply with many standards to seell a valve,
Calculations,Testing, NDE are to apply to a valve,

There are a couple of Canadian PEs who do this,for fee of course.

They are good,they speak French,and they will get all your CRNs. Makes life easier.
