divided part to 2 parts 2

Dear all,

i have question about how can i divided part to 2 or 3 parts in abaqus

itis possible or i have to in any software like solidwork and then import these prts in abaqus

Hello. You can easily do it in ABAQUS. In part module : tools > partitions...
You need to study some tutorials before questioning here

Copy the part and then cut a bit off the original, then cut a bit off the copied part. You now have 2 parts from the original uncut part. Simples.
