I've been asked to give a short presentation about Abaqus at our weekly geology/tectonics seminar next week. I'll mainly be focussing on flexibility, especially scripting and interaction between i.e. Matlab and Abaqus.
Of course, some nice spectacular examples of models would be great to pique the interest of our newer coworkers and students. They don't have to be Tectonics or even Geoscience related (in fact, a wide range of subjects might actually be more impressive). What I'm looking for is basically the typical 'Pretty Picture/Animation' maybe with some short information about what we're looking at. I'm trying to avoid the standard examples that are provided with Abaqus because I suspect some people might have already seen those. Obviously, anything I decide to use will be fully credited to whoever donated it.
