Document Management and Control System for Manufacturing Company

Dear all,

I am not sure if this the right place for this thread but I believe we all share the pain of not having good document system so it should be fine here?

I used to work in a small scale EPCM company in past where we had developed an internal manual system of handling various projects files and hence everything was trackable.

I have recently joined a big scale manufacturing company where a company where we have neither an manual system nor software.

In this company, we have two types of tasks 1) big projects 2) routine small modifications.

Could anyone (the one working in a manufacturing site would have better idea) please share what their organization is using for document management and control system? Is there any recommendation?

In the company I work (refinery), we use InnoCielo/BlueCielo Meridian.
