Does anyone have supporting documents to show the following GIS does not require an ASME code stamp.

Voltage - 300kV
Gas - SF6
Pressure - 1.9BAR (27.5psi)
Tank matl. - mild steel
Approx. size - 4.5'dia. x 8'long
Internal components - electrical

I have been told that GIS units do not require ASME code - typically this certification is requested by the state/city. Any insight on this as well would be appreciated.

Thanks,
