Does anyone have an idea why I might be getting this error message in COMSOL?

I have been given a model that is used to model a unit cell representing a large repetitive structure by using "Cell periodicity function" - which calculates the effective material properties of said structure.

Error message I get if "parametric sweep" function is turned off.

When parametric sweep is enabled, it runs, but abnormally slow, which leads me to believe there is something wrong with the model

According to the error message, source and destination (Comsol’s equivalent to master/slave or primary/secondary terms known in FEM) are not compatible. Check their definitions carefully.

Is there anywhere I can check what the source and destination are defined as?

And is it in any way similar to slave/master surface in abaqus?

Check the definition of periodic BCs, that’s probably where the error lies. General concept is equivalent to that used in Abaqus.
