This is the sample drawing:

It seems that SW does not have options to put something like [z,u,v]. Does anyone know how to do it?

I also tried to put an arrow on the drawing using notes, but there was a frame, how could I get an arrow only?

Thank you for all the help!:D

E-stone,

I do not have SolidWorks in front of me here. Those boxes labelled Primary, Secondary and Tertiary should accept whatever text you type in, including the brackets and lower[‑]case text.

What GD&T standard are you working to? The "[z,u,v]" makes no sense to me. Probably, you should not be doing this.

E-stone,

Attach the arrow. Type a space in the text box.

Problem solved.

This use of coordinate system components within the Feature Control Frame was added in the 2009 version of ASME Y14.5. It can take a while for software developers to catch up.

Hello JHG,
Thanks for the tips. I got the arrow and the customize datum control frame. I always type only one letter inside. Mind blocking.
However, this customized datum control frame is in the ASME Y14.5-2009.
