I am trying to remove a dimension from a baseline dimension set so that I can move it independently without deleting all the dimensions and reinserting them in the drawing.

Running cad straight out of the box is OK but, a system tuned with application software is the best way to increase productivity.

Sorry, I forgot to include that bit of information.
I am using NX6.0.4.3

John:

Could you also look at my question concerning: Square brackets for dual dimensions in note. I hope to see you at the next New England Users Group Meeting in November.

I'm not aware of any way to accomplish this (or your other issue), however, you only have to delete and recreate the Dimension(s) that you wish to reposition. You can leave the others as they are.

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

John: I am using the brackets in a note, not a dimension.
