Does Autopipe program check for steel stresses?

Hi, I am a structural engineer and am working with the piping group to design out steel. We are supplied with a set of piping loads for our steel design. The piping engineer modeled the steel in their AUTOPIPE program and has the steel stiffness information in their model. I wonder if AUTOPIPE with check for steel stresses and if the steel is over stressed, does the program then do a nonlinear analysis after the steel has yielded and is no longer in the elastic range? Thanks.

Pooh, though questions. This could best be addressed in the AutoPIPE pipe stress forum I guess, which is AutoPIPE's own community. You'll find most questions are answered by the engineers who program the AutoPIPE program.

The user community here is not that large as I understand, which is why there's only a CII subforum.
