Does galv always have dross and discoloured edges?

I work on an amada ensis3015 3kw we recently started cutting 26ga up to 10ga galvanized, also first time ever working with galvanized. Always have dross and discoloured edges except on the 10 ga I've gotten to cut nice. Anyone have any tips?
