Does this represent a new low for the price-point of 3D Printing? I realize that this is purely a 'hobby-level' device, but it does demonstrate how the cost of technology can come down based on the interest and demand of the general public:

That's a pretty throw-away kinda price... I have informed all of the local interns, just in case they want to get into something cheap.

Reading the reviews on the link, I'd stay away from this particular unit.
