Welcome Rahul to the wide, wide world of HVAC.
If "dosing pot" is meant to be a chemical feed pot, it is simple. You have a small line (1") from the discharge side of condenser or chilled water line routed to the feed pot with a shut off valve. From the feed pot (opposite side of the inlet) is another line with a valve routed to the suction side of the condenser or chilled water pump. Now with both valves closed, add chemicals. Slowly open both valves to get water circulating through the pot, till all the chemicals are gone. Close valves. I don't know of a standard for a pot feeder.

Running water through a stand by chiller serves no purpose. Just burns pump power. Why do it?

Thank you trashcanman ....nd im glad to be in this field with lot of helping hands like you around. Yea i meant chemical feed pot... so the feed pot lines are connected to the suction and discharge of the pump....gud to knw.

So if they dnt run water through the chiller whn in itz in standby mode wil thy close the valves..?? an make the standby chiller isloted without no water flow...??
