I have a wheel drive design for an off-road vehicle that uses a 155mm double-lip seal in contact with anodized aluminium. I want to reduce friction on this surface to minimize wear and reduce energy consumption during operation.

The aluminium part is a fully machined part 6061-T6 so it cannot be heated and I the coating must be localised on only one slice of the part. Temperature range between -40 deg. C and + 40 Deg. C. ? Rotation between 25 and 200 RPM, 6 months lifetime of the coating or better is acceptable.

Cab anyone suggest me any coating that could do the application?

Thanks,
