Hello,
Please, I am trainning with Abaqus 6.10 and and have two doubts ( maybe basics ), first I am not finding where I can choose if the stresses are presented by "average" or " not average" for each element . I noticed that the default is " not average", but for example, using a quadratic solid element I would like to know the average stress instead the stress in each node, by other hand, I am not sure why in the default " not average" the Von Mises stress is presented only with one value.
The second doubt, is not exactly about Abaqus but general, is about the variation of the stress level among element conecteds ( I noticed sometimes leaps / high differences between an element and your neighbour conected ). It would be due to element sizes, shape of element, etc., to increase the number or type of elements would be a way to reduce this problem ?
The last, what is "averaging 50%, 75%, 100% ?
Thanks
