Hi,

I am reviewing a List of Materials and I have doubts with some materials that I do not know.

AD 10
DU Compound
BRONAL 3

From what I've seen the AD 10 is a type of PTFE, but I have had no luck identifying the other materials.

Could someone please help me identify these materials?

Thanks.

Buna-N is currently one of the most widely used elastomers in the manufacture of seals.

DU Compound can be related with Dupont, which has several types of compounds.

Bronal I think is a medicine

Where are these materials specified? In what type of item or equipment? Mechanical, instrument, electrical?
Bronal may be metal Aluminum Bronze? Kindly give more details.

Hi,

They are parts of a pump (bushing, joint, etc.)

I recently found the following information:

AD 10: Type of PTFE
DU Compound: Material consisting of tin, bronze, teflon and lead.
BRONAL 3: Bronze alloy.

I think the thread can finally be closed.

Thanks for your help guys.

Do not, I repeat, do not look this up in the urban dictionary.
