Jan Roskam (February 22, 1930 – September 9, 2022)[2] was the Deane E. Ackers Distinguished Professor of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Kansas. He is the author of eleven books on airplane design and flight dynamics and over 160 papers on the topics of aircraft aerodynamics, performance, design and flight controls.[3] He founded the company DARcorporation with Willem Anemaat.

Sad, I have a fewe of his books from when I took A/C design in school.
 
I have a complete set of his design series books and a couple of others.
Most were a set owned by my previous boss, given to me when he retired, who couldn't help noticing how I pored over Roskam's books.

I also attended many of his free online aviation history courses given through Kansas University for years.
