Drafting - Leaders to dimensions with equal value (e.g., radii) 1

My question is I have multiple radii that have the same dimensional value. Is there a way to add a leader to point to each of them? I tried to use the "edit leader" command and add a leader but NX will not let you in drafting.

Any help would be great. See my picture below for further explaination.

Thank you.

About the best that you can do is to just drag the other dimensions on top of the first one created until they snap in place, one on top of the other (see atacched image). Now unless you're going to be using a PEN plotter (not sure how many of them are still being used) but if it's anything else, even with 4 dimensions stacked together they will only be rasterized once so your plotted/printed output will look fine.

That makes sense. I will do that from now on. Thanks for your assistance John.

Here's what I do. Create one radius dimension. Then create an annotation with a leader (I usually just call them labels). The text for this label is one space, nothing else. Select the other radius edge for the arrow and then drag until the tails of the label and the radius dimension line up. I usually use the ALT key to get rid of the snap function while doing this. Doing it this way you only end up with the tails overlapping one another. The downside is that the arrow of the label doesn't point to the center of the radius automatically, so you have to play around with where you pick on the radius for it to look right.

Is there a way to do this in NX7.5 without the faking?

If you have multiple radii that are clearly around a common feature, you could just put "2 POSN" under the dimension as a note (see example of chamfer attached).

It would be interesting to post this question in the "Drafting Standards, GD&T & Tolerance Analysis" section of EngTips to see if there is a concensus on the best practice to achieving this.
