Greetings:

I have a question on defining the line of a section view. It does not appear that the section line can be anything but a straight line of whatever center you select. What I would like to be able to do is have one half of the line between (2) points, and the other half between (2) different points (both share the same center). I have attached an example picture to help clarify.

Thank you in advance for your help.

That should be no problem whatsoever. Look for something with the word 'Revolve' in it.

As John suggests....

If using NX11 or higher (I assume nothing's changed after NX11), bring up the Section View dialog (Menu -> Insert -> View -> Section...) and go over to the top of the Section View dialog and change the 2nd pulldown from the top from Simple/Stepped to Revolved. Use available model features to position the point of rotation and the start & end legs.

Thank you for the response. I know how to do this now. Much appreciated.
