Does anyone know how to change the ANSI drafting standard settings to get my Datum callouts to look correct?

Currently the Datum has a dash before and after the letter. I just want the letter in the square (no dashes), with a triangular base.

Please see the attached picture. (CATIA V5)

Try digging down into your drafting standard xml file and see if it reads "-show value-". then try deleting the -'s.

thanks Lucus!

I tried using the Standards Editing tool, but couldn't find anything on Datum features.

I'll follow your suggestion and see what's in the xml file.

I checked both ANSI and ASME xml files and found both had the same settings:

-<std:node name="Display">

<std:enumval name="TextDisplay">Show value</std:enumval>

I didn't see any options for choosing what type of datum style to use

Any other ideas?

I believe you need to be in admin mode for the editor to function. There's a thread in the forums on how enable that. But to me, this is the correct spot to start looking (standard/xml file)
