I used to be able to drag (adjust) a line in a sketch while not in an active sketch. (not referring to instant 2-D)
Anyone know of the preference that needs to be turned on to activate and allow that feature.

Using 2016 sp 4.

Thanks much.

I seem to remember you did not necessarily need to be in active sketch.
If you had sketches showing (not hidden) and you clicked on an end point of a
line, say.... you could move that line. When I upgraded last year to 2016, I seem
to have lost this feature... but wondering if there was a preference I needed to turn on.
??

I am with Chris on this one... I don't recall Sketches shown or not that are inactive to be a something that could be changed by dragging a point or a line within a sketch.

Seems dangerous to me if that did exist and would rather see that fixed.

Maybe it was Instant 3-D....When activated, seems to do what I remember.
Just don't ever remember ever having it activated previously.

thanks for the help.
