Hello

I don't understand about " Do not Pocket " for piping design.
When I see " Do not Pocket " on drain line ( closed drain ) or Flare line.
How to design those lines ... what piping layout should I avoid ??

Thank you

Do not have low points ("pockets) or places where liquid can gather and fill up the pipe on a static basis, i.e. continuous slope in whichever direction is shown. See fig 1 in below.

Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.

If your piping is to be routed in a pipe rack, a good place to locate it would be on a cantilever on the outside of the rack to allow the continuous slope.
