Drawing Questions - Adding existing drawing as a sheet within another existing drawing

Hey guys,

I've been working on an assembly that requires about 5 pages of drawings. I'd done the bulk of the work at my office, and had 4 of the sheets completed. I then had to make another drawing, which was saved separately.

Can I insert that drawing page within the existing 4 page drawing? I only see the Add Sheet or Edit sheet options. None of which allow me to insert an existing drawing.

Chris,

When I hit the restore (between the minimize and close buttons) to make it where I can have 2 drawings open on the screen at the same time, I lose the sheet tabs across the bottom (much like you do when you aren't maximized in excel). This might have been fixed in '13 (I'm using '12), unless you are dragging it across another way?

Chris,

Learned 2 things today. Thanks for that, its a better method than the copy/paste drawing views.

While we are on the subject of drawing views though, I have one more question thats been bugging me. Whenever you are adding annotations, I've occasionally accidentally had a border of another drawing view active before placing the annotation, which attaches it to that drawing view. How do you break or change that "bond" to another drawing view?

Right click the view you want the annotation (or sketch) to stick to and select "lock view focus". Now anything you create will be associated to that view. When you are done, right click again and "unlock view focus."

Matrixrage,
You can just copy & paste the note to another view, and then delete the original.
