Drawing units in inches using LandDesktop '04

I'm doing traffic sign design, and we can't afford GuidSIGN or any similar package.

Is there a way to dimension objects in inches, instead of feet or meters? I'm getting tired of overriding the dimension text all the time.

What I've ended up doing for now is drawing it at 1 ft = 1 inch, and overriding the units suffix to show inches rather than feet.

It's a kluge that works, but I'd rather be able to design in inches.

Use the UNITS command, and chose Architectural units for Ft -in-fractions, or Engineering units for Feet - inches.decimal. then look into your Dimstyles, and set one up that works with the architectural units setting

You can actually just specify a scale factor in your DimStyle to divide by 12.
