Hello, Does NX 7.5 have the ability to create or modify a line type
to be broken or zig-zag? I want to use it in a cut-away or partial view
to show the portion of the view has been removed and is not displayed.

You create those 'break lines' while creating a Broken View. Just go to...

Insert -> View -> Broken...

...where you will be asked to select the view that you wish to break and then you can choose the 'Curve Type' to be used which includes several common styles of 'break lines'. Now select where you want the boundary to be for the break keeping in mind that only the first section of the boundary will be visible once you're done but you still need to close the boundary back to the start, T=You will then be asked to select an 'Anchor Point' which can be anything on the model inside the portion of the view that you're going to be keeping that if what's inside the 'boundary' that you drew. Hit OK and you're done.
