Hi Guys,

I have a Electrical component (EX:-Connector) with various no of circuits (2-15 circuits). I made this component with use of expressions. And also, I created the part family for this component. Now I want to make a drawing for this product. Here, I'm struggling (actually don't know). In first sheet of drawing needs 15th circuit of the component and second sheet needs 5th circuit of the same component.

I don't know....How to do this? Please give me a solutions.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Mate,

Yes. I'm using Master model concept.

If you like to show in the views , both a 15th circuit and a 5th circut, you have to have both part family members as commponents in that drawing. Then place one on layer 1 and the other on layer 2.
Show layer 1 on sheet 1 and layer 2 on sheet 2.

the alternative is , if this is a parametric model, you place the 15th circuit on the drawing, make the view ( settings) into a snapshot ( a static image) then change the expressions into 5th circuit, and add these views.

Another option is create a drawing of the Part family template, then publish the members in a table, but not in detail views.

Regards,
Tomas
